Mike Garman

Career:
Played in the big leagues for parts of nine seasons with five teams, including the Dodgers in 1977 and 1978.

Did you know? Nicknamed "Pickles" because of his propensity of eating the green and crunchy vegetable while dieting ... earned a save against the Phillies in Game 3 of the 1977 NLCS and pitched scoreless relief against the Yankees in Game 1 of the 1977 World Series ... his father Houston and brother Steve played minor league baseball.

Post-game: Co-owned a seed-corn farm with his brother for 13 years, and then worked as an insurance agent for 25 years, retiring in 2018.
