Pat Zachry

Career:
 Played in the big leagues for parts of 10 seasons with four teams, including the Dodgers in 1983 and '84.

Did you know? Shared NL Rookie of the Year honors with pitcher Butch Metzger in 1976 ... was traded by the Reds along with Steve Henderson, Doug Flynn and Dan Norman to the Mets for future Hall of Famer Tom Seaver on June 15, 1977.

Post-game: Owned and operated a batting cage in his hometown of Waco, TX, worked as a pitching coach in the Dodgers' minor league system, played in the Senior Professional Baseball League, and worked as a substitute teacher for 10 years ... was inducted into the Waco Independent School District Athletic HOF in 2011.
