Ron Negray

Career: Played in the big leagues for parts of four seasons with the Dodgers (1952 and 1958) and Phillies (1955-1956).

Did you know? Pitched two innings of relief in the first-ever game played on the West Coast, as the Dodgers lost to the Giants 8-0 at San Francisco's Seals Stadium on April 15, 1958.

Post-game: Worked as a sports apparel salesman for some 30 years, retiring in 1995 ... died at age 88 on November 8, 2018.
