Dave Goltz

Career: Pitched in the big leagues for parts of 12 seasons with three different teams, including the Dodgers from 1980 to 1982.

Did you know? Charged with the loss in the tie-breaking 163rd game of the 1980 season, a 7-1 Dodgers' setback to the visiting Astros ... pitched in Game One and and Game Four of the 1981 World Series, won by Los Angeles in six games ... was released by the Dodgers the following season, with nearly four-years remaining on his six-year, $3 million free agent contract.

Post game: Coached at Fergus Falls Community College during the mid-1980s, sold real estate for a short time, and thereafter worked as an insurance salesman, specializing in farm policies.
