Candy Maldonado

Career: Played in the big leagues for parts of 15 seasons with seven teams, including the Dodgers at the beginning of his career from 1981 to 1985.

Did you know? Wore uniform #20 for the Dodgers, which was later retired by the team in 1998 in honor of HOF pitcher Don Sutton ... hit for the cycle as a member of the Giants on May 4, 1987 ... collected a walk-off single in Game 3 of the 1992 World Series at Toronto's SkyDome, the first-ever Fall Classic played on foreign soil ... scored the first run by a Cleveland player at Jacobs Field on April 4, 1994

Post-game: Was a longtime baseball broadcaster and analyst for ESPN Deportes and Beisbol Esta Noche ... was inducted into the Puerto Rican Baseball HOF and the Caribbean Baseball HOF in 2011.
