Dick Teed

Career: Played in one game with the Dodgers in 1953.

Did you know? Struck out as a pinch-hitter in his only major league at-bat against the Braves' Max Sukront at Ebbets Field on July 24, 1953.

Post-game: Coached and managed in the Phillies minor league system through 1967, and thereafter scouted for the Phillies and Dodgers for 27 years, retiring in 1994 ... was inducted into the National Baseball Scouting HOF in 2001 and the Windsor High School HOF in 2012 ... died at age 88 on August 17, 2014.
