Ken Lehman

Career:
Played in the big leagues for parts of five seasons with three different teams, including the Brooklyn Dodgers at the start of his career (1952, 1956-57).

Did you know? Served in the US Army during the Korean War (1951-52) ... pitched two scoreless innings in the 1952 World Series against the Yankees ... led the International League in wins with 18 in 1954 and 22 in 1955, while pitching for the Montreal Royals, the Dodgers' top farm team.

Post-game: Served as head baseball coach at the University of Washington from 1964 to 1971, briefly worked in construction, owned a drive-in restaurant, and thereafter worked as a bus driver and janitor for a Washington-area school district for 31 years ... died at age 82 on December 4, 2010.
