Lady Baldwin

Career: Played in the big leagues for parts of six seasons with four teams, including two games with Brooklyn in 1890, near the end of his career.

Did you know? In 1886 led the NL in wins (42), strikeouts (323) and shutouts (7) ... posted a 4-1 record with a 1.50 ERA in leading Detroit to its first World Series title in 1887.

Post-game: Owned and operated an orchards and poultry farm and later owned a real estate business ... died at age 77 on March 7, 1937.
