Bob Clark

Career: Played in the big leagues for seven seasons with three teams, including Brooklyn from 1886 to 1890.

Did you know? Batted .467 (7-for-15) in five career World Series games for Brooklyn in 1889 and 1890.

Post-game: Worked as a minor league umpire, was in the saloon business, scouted for Brooklyn, served as a road supervisor in Hamilton County, and worked in a Cincinnati factory  ... died on August 21, 1919 at the age of 56 after being badly burned in a factory explosion.
