Career:
 Played in the big leagues for parts of nine seasons with five teams, including Brooklyn from 1908 to 1910.

Did you know? Given name was Irvin Key ... compiled three-20 game losing seasons, including a 16-22 campaign with Brooklyn in 1908 despite registering a 1.87 earned run average, which was good enough for seventh best in the league.

Post-game: Owned a farm in Ohio, managed and coached in the majors, minors and at the college level, and thereafter went into the insurance business in Rochester, NY ... died on May 26, 1936 at age 59.
