Chuck Essegian

Career: Played in the big leagues for parts of six seasons with six different teams, including the Dodgers in 1959 and 1960.

Did you know? Was a two-sport star at Stanford University, where he played outfield on the baseball team and linebacker and fullback on the football squad ... set World Series record with two pinch-hit home runs in the 1959 Classic, helping the Dodgers defeat the "Go-Go" White Sox in six games ... joined Jackie Jensen as one of two athletes to play in a Rose Bowl and a World Series. 

Post Game: Graduated from law school in 1974, worked for a shirt stint as a  Pasadena city attorney prosecutor, and later opened his own law firm, retiring in 1996 ... was inducted into the American Armenian Sports HOF in 2002.
