Bill Hart

Career: Played in the big leagues for part of eight seasons with five teams, including Brooklyn in 1892.

Did you know? Hurled a Western Association no-hitter on August 22, 1891 ... was a three-time 20-game winner in the minors and a two-time 20-game loser in the majors ... served up hit number 3,000 to Cap Anson on August 3, 1897.

Post-game: Worked as an umpire in the minor and major leagues, and thereafter toiled as a laborer for the Electrotype Company in Cincinnati, OH ... died at age 71 on September 19, 1936.
