Clem Labine

Career:
Played in the big leagues for parts of 13 seasons with four different teams, including the Dodgers from 1950 to 1960.

Did you know? Served in the army during World War II ... led the NL saves with 19 in 1956 and 17 in 1957, and was an all-star both seasons ... won World Series titles with the Dodgers in 1955 and 1959, and the Pirates in 1960.

Post-game: Worked as a designer and executive for a sporting goods company, and later as an executive of a banking institution ... died on March 2, 2007 at the age of 80, after suffering a pair of strokes.
