Rex Hudson

Did you know? Rex Hudson made his big league debut at age 20 against the Braves in Atlanta, on July 27, 1994. In two-plus innings, he allowed five runs and six hits, including a pair of home runs to Hank Aaron and Dusty Baker--the final two batters he faced before he was pulled from the game. Days later, he was sent down to the minors for additional seasoning, but alas, he never pitched in another big league contest.

Post Game: Served as an assistant coach at the University of Mexico, then worked at the Albuquerque regional air traffic facility for a quarter century. He is now retired, living in the small town of Ponder, Texas, population of 500 or so.
