Bill Sudakis

Career: Played in the big leagues for parts of eight seasons with six different teams, including the Dodgers from 1968 to 1971.

Did you know? Hit a home-run in his first big league game, a two-run shot in the eighth inning off Dick Hall as the Dodgers beat the Phillies, 10-9, at Connie Mack Stadium on September 3, 1968.

Post-game: After several failed business ventures and troubles with the law, managed an independent league team for one season and thereafter served as a youth baseball instructor and travel coach in the Palm Springs Desert Valley for many years ... died on September 15, 2021 at age 75 after suffering from Alzheimer's disease.
