Danny McDevitt

Career: 
Played in the big leagues for parts of six seasons with five different teams, including the Dodgers from 1957 to 1960.

Did you know? Blanked the Pirates, 3-0, on five-hits in the Brooklyn Dodgers' final game at Ebbets Field, on September 24, 1957.

Post-game: Worked as a minor league umpire, held government jobs in Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia, and sold real estate in Georgia ... was inducted into the Binghamton Baseball Shrine in 2009 ... died on November 20, 2010 at age 78.
