Irv Noren

Career: 
Played in the big leagues for parts of 11 seasons with six different teams, including the Dodgers in 1960.

Did you know? Played with George Mikan and the Chicago Gears in the old National Basketball League, scoring one point in three games during the 1946-47 season ... was MVP of Texas League in 1948 and the Pacific Coast League in 1949 ... won World Series titles with the Yankees in 1952, 1953 and 1956.

Post game: Worked as a scout, minor league coach and manager, big league coach, invested in thoroughbred reacehorses, and owned several business, including a bowling alley, a liquor store, and two sporting good stores, in Southern California ... died on November 15, 2019 at age 94.
