Art Fowler

Career:
Played in the big leagues for parts of nine seasons with three different teams, including the World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers in 1959.

Did you know? After toiling in the minors for 10 seasons, won 12 games as a 31-year old rookie for the Reds in 1954.

Post-game: Served as Billy Martin's pitching coach and drinking buddy for 14 seasons, winning World Series titles with Yankees in 1977 and 1978 ... died of blood cancer and Alzheimer's disease on January 29, 2007 at the age of 84.
