Career: Played in the big leagues for parts of seven seasons with the Dodgers (1979-80, 1982-83, 1986) and Royals (1984-85).

Did you know? Missed the entire 1981 season after suffering from double vision, requiring surgery in each eye.

Post-game: Worked for a ready-mix concrete business for more than 30 years ... was inducted into the Alabama Sports HOF in 2004 ... died on May 22, 2021 at the age of 66 after a lengthy battle with colon cancer.
