Career: Spent the first five years of his big league career with the Dodgers (1984-88), before joining the Phillies for the final two seasons (1989-90). 

Did you know? Registered a record 14 consecutive outs by strikeout during the 1984 Dominican Winter League season.

Post-game: Coached for the Dodgers in the minor leagues (2002-2008) and at the major league level (2008-2015) ... died on November 9, 2018 at age 57.
