Steve Bilko

Career: 
Played in the big leagues for parts of 10 seasons with six different teams, including the Dodgers in 1958, the team's first season in Los Angeles.

Did you know? Led the PCL in homers from 1955 to 1957 and was named the league's MVP after each season.

Post Game: Co-owned a tavern with former teammate Rip Repulski, and later worked as an an inspector of raw materials for the Dana Perfume Company plant in Mountaintop, PA for 11 years, retiring in 1977 ... died of of a heart attack on March 7, 1978 at age 49 ... inducted into the PCL HOF in 2003.
