Career: Played in the big leagues for parts of eight seasons with three different teams, including the Dodgers in 1963 and 1965 through 1968.

Did you know? Performed as a solo pianist at Carnegie Hall as a teenager.

Post-game: Worked various odd jobs before starting his own construction company, which he operated for 30 years, and thereafter began working for the Dodgers' community relations department in 2009.
