Jim Baxes

Career: Played in the big leagues for the Dodgers and Indians during the 1959 season.

Did you know?  Smacked the first big league pitch ever thrown by future Hall of Famer Bob Gibson for a home run.

Post game: Owned and operated a heating and air conditioning business. He died of heart failure at the age of 68 on November 14, 1996.
